The mission of the Montgomery Clean City Commission (MCCC) is to educate, motivate, lead, and enable citizens to create a cleaner and more beautiful city in which they live, work, and visit. Through education, hands-on cleanups, and community partnerships, we inspire pride in our neighborhoods and responsibility for our shared spaces.
MCCC provides essential cleanup supplies, including gloves, vests, trash bags, and litter grabbers. Supplies are available for individuals, neighborhoods, schools, and community groups working to keep Montgomery clean.
We coordinate cleanup efforts across Montgomery by helping residents and organizations schedule pickups and proper disposal. Our team ensures collected litter is handled safely and responsibly.
Neighborhood associations, schools, and organizations can access MCCC resources to support cleanups and community projects. We make it easier to take action with the right tools and guidance.
MCCC works closely with schools and local partners to educate residents on litter prevention, recycling awareness, and sustainable habits that protect our city for future generations.
Litter impacts more than how our city looks—it affects public health, safety, and community pride. When we remove litter, we restore public spaces and strengthen neighborhoods. Everyone has a role to play, and together, we can make a visible difference.
The Montgomery Clean City Commission provides the tools, education, and coordination needed to keep Montgomery clean and welcoming:
Make a difference in your neighborhood. MCCC welcomes individuals, families, retirees, neighborhood groups, fraternities, sororities, and students earning community service hours. No experience needed — we provide supplies and guidance.
